Details

The Schwarzman Scholarship provides graduate students with a greater knowledge of China through a rigorous and innovative Master’s of Global Affairs degree at Tsinghua University, one of country’s leading universities. The program seeks to build strong links between China and the rapidly changing world. The award covers tuition fees, room and board, a travel stipend, an in-country study tour, a living stipend, and a stipend for course books and supplies, health insurance.

Annual Number of Scholarships Awarded

  • ~100-200 per year



Eligibility

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent by August 1st of the scholarship enrollment year
  • Be at least 18 years of age, but not yet 29 by August 1st of the scholarship enrollment year
  • English language proficiency

  • Ability to anticipate and act on emerging trends and opportunities
  • Exemplary character
  • Desire to understand other cultures and perspectives
